Creation of the Painting.
The idea for the plot emerged in 2001, resulting in another version of the painting sold in Germany. By 2020, the artist completely reimagined his approach to painting, rewriting the piece, narrowing the palette, and adjusting the composition. The bird and the woman remained, celebrating the beauty of an unpretentious story, a reason for the artist to revisit his work in a different way.
Fate of the Painting.
The painting was not completed in the artist's understanding. Yet, to the master's credit, the hinted continuation adds charm to the artwork, giving viewers room for imagination, like the melody of "Autumn Leaves" paused, its continuation known to everyone, mentally interpreting the notes. The painting "Autumn Cat" never participated in exhibitions and remained in the artist's studio until his passing in 2022.

The painting is signed by the artist on the back of the canvas with the date 1994 (94). What lies beneath the painting remains a mystery.
